Kids Party House exists because finding people you can rely on for a child's party takes far longer than it should. We built a single place to look, so the hours you would have spent searching go back into the party.
Why Kids Party House exists
Anyone who has planned a child's birthday knows the pattern. You start with one search, end up with eleven browser tabs, and three days later you are still not sure who covers your suburb, who is free on your date, or what any of it costs. Meanwhile the party is in a fortnight.
The problem is not that there are no good suppliers. Australia has excellent entertainers, face painters, soft play businesses and castle operators. The problem is that they are scattered across social pages, directories and word of mouth, and almost none of them make it easy to find out the two things you actually need to know first. Do you come to my area, and are you free on my date.
Kids Party House was built to collapse that. You describe the party once. We put that brief in front of suppliers who genuinely service your suburb and have the date available, and the quotes come to you.
The experience behind the idea
Kids Party House was created from more than fifteen years of experience across celebrations, events, customer service, styling and working with event suppliers. That background is the reason the platform is built the way it is, and it shapes what we ask for in a brief and what we tell you to check before you pay a deposit.
It also means we understand the supplier side. A good entertainer turning down a booking because the enquiry arrived without a date, a suburb or a headcount is a wasted opportunity for everyone. A brief that includes those three things gets a better answer, faster.
What we are, and what we are not
We are a matching platform. We are not the entertainer, the face painter or the hire company, and we do not own any of the equipment on this site. What that means practically is that you book and pay the supplier you choose, directly, and their terms, insurance and cancellation policy are the ones that apply on the day.
It also means we have no reason to push you toward a more expensive booking. We do not set supplier prices and we do not take a cut of what you pay them. Sending a brief and comparing quotes is free for families.

Is Kids Party House a supplier or a directory?
Neither, exactly. We are a matching platform. We do not own equipment or employ entertainers, and we are not a passive list either. You send one brief and we put it in front of suppliers who cover your suburb and are free on your date, so the quotes that come back are real options rather than names to work through.
Does it cost anything?
Not for families. Sending a brief and comparing quotes is free. You book and pay the supplier you choose, directly. We do not set supplier prices and we do not take a cut of what you pay them.
Who do I deal with once I have chosen?
The supplier, directly. The booking, the payment, the service on the day and any cancellation or refund questions sit between you and them. Their terms and their insurance are the ones that apply.
How do you choose which suppliers see my brief?
By service area and availability first. A supplier only receives your brief if they have confirmed they service your suburb and can work on your date. That is the filter that saves you the most time.
Do you cover the whole country?
We currently operate across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, with dedicated pages for forty city and council areas. We do not currently cover South Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory or the ACT.
Are you a new business?
Kids Party House is new, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. The idea and the way it is built come from more than fifteen years of experience across celebrations, events, customer service, styling and working with event suppliers.
